+ Specifications

You can choose between sizes 4.5”x6.25” (A6) or 5”x7”. Printed on a 120 lb Eggshell Ultra White card stock (a thick, lightly textured paper) with matching white "Announcement (straight-flap) Style" envelopes (also Eggshell Ultra White). The back of the cards can be left plain (with a small "Happy Bear Designs" logo on the bottom center) or feature a color of your choosing.

+ Process

Once you place your order, I’ll e-mail you a link to an online form within 1 business day, which is where you can upload your reference photos, choose outfits, request your text (I can add in any custom text you’d like), etc. We’ll talk about any additional questions I have (or that you have!) before I get started on your illustration/design.

I'll create your cards, then you’ll receive a digital proof through e-mail. If there are tweaks you’d like made to your portrait/design, I’ll make those tweaks to make sure it is 100% perfect and exactly what you’d like. (Most orders only need 1 round of tweaks if any at all, but we’ll keep tweaking more if needed!) Then your cards will be printed and shipped to you!

+ FAQs

Do I need to have a photo of all the people/pets together for you to create an illustration? Do I need photos of them in the outfits I'd like? Nope! I like to work off multiple reference photos for each person/pet to make sure I have a really good idea of what each of them look like. I can also work off any photos of an outfit you have (can even just be photos you find of the outfit online.)

Can I just get the digital files of my save-the-date design and print them myself? Absolutely! Just choose the "digital files" option under the "quantity" tab and I'll help you through the printing process.

Can I add an illustrated background to my portrait? Yep! Prices for background depend on the complexity of what you're wanting - send me an email or message before ordering to let me know what you're thinking!

Free shipping to US. Unavailable for international shipping. Average turnaround time from placing your order to receiving your cards is 3-4 weeks. If you need your order more quickly, please send me a message or email before ordering to make sure I can meet your deadline.
