+ Process

Once you place your order, I’ll e-mail you a link to an online form within 1 business day, which is where you can upload your reference photos, let me know your outfit preferences, request your text for the banner, etc. We’ll talk about any additional questions I have (or that you have!) before I get started on your illustration/design.

I'll illustrate your portrait, then you’ll receive a digital proof through e-mail. If there are tweaks you’d like made to your portrait, I’ll make those tweaks to make sure it is 100% perfect and exactly what you’d like. (Most orders only need 1 round of tweaks if any at all, but we’ll keep tweaking more if needed!) Then your digital files of your portrait will be emailed to you and (if you've included a print in your order) your print will be printed and shipped to you.

+ FAQs

Do I need to have a photo of all the people/pets together for you to create an illustration? Do I need photos of them in the outfits I'd like? Nope! I like to work off multiple reference photos for each person/pet to make sure I have a really good idea of what each of them look like. I can also work off any photos of an outfit you have (can even just be photos you find of the outfit online.)

Can you put us in our wedding attire before our wedding day? Absolutely! Just send along photos from dress/suit fittings or photos of examples of similar suits/dresses/etc. and I can make that happen!

Can I just get the digital files of my portrait and print it myself? Yep! And I'll send you printing instructions for how to get a great print of your portrait locally.

Will I be able to add to my portrait in the future as my family grows? For sure! That's one of the things I love most about these portraits being digital - you can always add in people or pets in the future or make other updates to your portrait as your family grows and changes.

Free shipping to US. Unavailable for international shipping. Digital files are included in every order. Average turnaround time from placing your order to receiving your portrait is 2-3 weeks. If you need your order more quickly, please send me a message or email before ordering to make sure I can meet your deadline.

+ Print Specifications

Printed on a 120 lb Eggshell Ultra White card stock (a thick, lightly textured paper). Prints are unframed. The back of the print will have a small "Happy Bear Designs" logo on the bottom center.
